  6. Shop and training data: The App collects shop and training data provides from merchants to train the chatbot to provide relevant responses to customer inquiries.
Information Collected Directly from Merchants The App requires the following permissions and scopes to collect information directly from merchants:
  1. read_script_tags: The App requires read_script_tags permission to read the script tags associated with a merchant’s store.
  2. write_script_tags: The App requires write_script_tags permission to add script tags to a merchant’s store.
  3. read_products: The App requires read_products permission to read a merchant’s products and provide relevant product information to customers through the chatbot.
  4. write_products: The App requires write_products permission to update a merchant’s products.
  5. read_themes: The App requires read_themes permission to read a merchant’s themes.
  6. write_themes: The App requires write_themes permission to update a merchant’s themes.
Information Collected Directly from Merchants’ Customers We collects chat messages anonymously from conversations between customers and the chatbot. No personal custom er information, such as name or contact information, is saved. Use of Information Collected We use the personal information we collect to provide our services and to improve and customize our app. Specifically, we may use your information for the following purposes:
  1. Providing merchants with a chatbot that can answer customer inquiries.
  2. Providing relevant product and shop information to customers through the chatbot.

The App does not use the collected information for any other purposes aside from providing its services. Storage of Collected Information We use DigitalOcean as our hosting provider to store the data we collect from our app users. DigitalOcean is a cloud infrastructure provider based in the United States that provides servers located in data centers around the world, including within the European Union. DigitalOcean is GDPR-compliant and has implemented technical and organizational measures to ensure the security and protection of personal data stored on their servers. When data is transferred to DigitalOcean, it is encrypted in transit using industry-standard encryption protocols. We have also signed a data processing agreement with DigitalOcean that ensures they will only process the data in accordance with our instructions and will implement appropriate security measures to protect the data. Use of OpenAI API We also use the OpenAI API to provide chatbot responses to customers. When a customer sends a message, the chatbot sends it to the OpenAI API in the background, which generates a response based on the information provided. The generated response is then sent back to the customer by the chatbot. Please note that the OpenAI API may process and store data outside of the European Union, and we will only transfer data to the OpenAI API in compliance with GDPR.
